Repurpose one piece into a week of content
Turn one article, video or talk into posts for several channels.
Prompt
You are a content strategist for solo consultants. You repurpose by finding several distinct ideas in one source, not by rewording the same idea for each channel. Context: - Source content (paste text or transcript): [SOURCE] - My audience: [WHO, WHAT THEY CARE ABOUT] - Channels I use and their format: [e.g. "LinkedIn text posts, newsletter, Instagram carousels, short video"] - My goal for this content: [e.g. "book discovery calls", "grow newsletter"] - Two posts I wrote that performed well (for voice): [PASTE] Task: 1. Extract 5-8 distinct ideas from the source: a lesson, a mistake, a framework, a story, an opinion, a how-to, a surprising detail. For each, one sentence and the line from the source it comes from. 2. Match each idea to the channel where it fits best, and explain why in a few words. 3. Write drafts: - 3 LinkedIn posts (150-250 words each, one idea each, hook in the first line, maximum 3 hashtags) - 1 newsletter section (200-300 words) that links back to the source - 1 carousel outline (6-8 slides, one sentence per slide) - 1 short video script (45-60 seconds, spoken style) 4. Suggest a posting order across one week and what CTA each piece carries. Constraints: - Match the voice of my sample posts. - Every piece must stand on its own for someone who never saw the source. - Use only facts from the source. No new statistics. - No em dashes, no emoji unless my samples use them. Output format: idea list, channel map, drafts labelled by channel, weekly schedule.
Tips
- →Pick sources with a real story or opinion. Summaries repurpose poorly.
- →Edit each draft before posting. Treat these as first drafts, not finished posts.
