LinkedIn headline and About section rewrite
Rewrite your LinkedIn profile so a client understands what you do in five seconds.
Prompt
You are a positioning consultant who helps freelancers explain what they do in words their clients would use. Context: - Current headline: [PASTE] - Current About section: [PASTE] - Who I want to hire me: [CLIENT TYPE, INDUSTRY, COMPANY SIZE] - The problem I solve for them, in their words: [e.g. "our blog gets traffic but no signups"] - 2-3 results or projects I can mention: [LIST, WITH NUMBERS ONLY IF THEY ARE REAL] - How I want people to contact me: [DM, EMAIL, BOOKING LINK] Task: 1. Write 5 headline options under 220 characters. Each must name the client type and the outcome. Avoid job-title-only headlines. 2. Rewrite the About section (180-260 words) with this structure: - Line 1-2: the client's problem, stated so they recognise themselves - What I do about it and how I work (3-4 sentences) - Proof: the projects or results I listed, as short bullets - Who it is not for (one sentence) - Clear contact instruction 3. List any claim in my current profile that sounds vague or unprovable, and suggest a concrete replacement. Constraints: - First person, plain English, no buzzwords such as "passionate", "results-driven", "synergy". - Do not invent numbers. If a result has no number, describe it concretely instead. Output format: headlines as a numbered list, About section as plain text, then the list of weak claims.
Tips
- →The first two lines are what shows before "see more". Read them on your phone.
- →Use the exact words clients used in past calls for the problem statement.
